Effective and unexpectedly economical

I use mine in a hybrid jug-kettle, so they are catering for all my water-needs. I have been using them for two or three years and am past the honeymoon phase. They work.
Tea is cleaner looking and tasting. My Espresso machine has cut its descaling needs, and the insides of my jug-kettle are nearly as new.
After experimenting with differences between advertised and actual effective lifespan of cartridges, I conclude I can use them for twice as long before they show first signs of lessened effectiveness.
The environment of use is relevant here, so I will share it: 1/4 litre cold per day to fill espresso reservoir, 1/2 litre per day boiled at various times to make mugs of tea, and 2-litres per week brought to boiling and poured on pasta to be cooked.

| As these items are manufacturer made there is no difference in the product quality if bought elsewhere therefore it comes down to price and this gives a very good unit price for the filters. |

| i use the Brita Filter jug regually and love the taste of the filtered water and its alot better for you as it gets rid of the impuritys in the water |
