Great bike, well worth the cash

Bike is exactly like the one pictured, lightweight and the saddle is padded (unlike some of my previous bike saddles).
Not sure what the previous reviewer was talking about, must have put review on wrong item, as this bike is as described.
I'm very happy with it and use it every day as I cycle to work, also planning on a weekend cycling trip, as I'm confident the bike is up to it (just not so sure about my legs). |
Great Bike at a cheap price

Bought this about 2 months ago, read some of the reviews and was a bit worried by some of the negative ones but i've not experienced any of them!
The bike arrived with next day delivery, boxed up in perfect condition, a bit of assembly was required, attaching front wheel, pedals and handle bars. Easy enough with supplied manual. All brakes and gears were already set up, although they needed some adjustment after a few weeks use.
Pros:
- Great price for a bike with these specs, I struggled to find any other bike with front disc brakes and front suspension at £130
- Disc brake works really well, especially in the wet
- 21 gears more than enough for cycling about
- Suitable for both on and off road use
- Quick releases on seat and front wheel for easy adjustment
Cons:
- Extremities of gears aren't that smooth but it does mention this in the manual, 21 gears is probably slightly too many
- Rear brakes started to make a horrible screaching noise after a while but easily solved by adjustment, making sure the pads were 'toe in'
- Quick releases may allow thieves to steal front wheel or seat
Overall a comfortable, inexpensive and good quality bike, well worth the money, very pleased with mine! |

| An excellent bike for the price, much better than anything else available in a similar price range. Easy to assemble, less than an hour including setting the gears. There was a small problem with the rear brake caliper being damaged but as usual, Amazon were great and arranged a partial refund to cover the cost of the replacement parts. The bike I received was exactly the same as the one pictured here and uses good quality components. I paid for the express delivery service and would recommend this to anyone, I was told the bike would arrive before noon and I had it at 8am. All in all 10/10. |

An excellent bike
It is as lightweight as much of the more expensive bikes (check the boxed weight shown by amazon if they don't state frame weight). The colour is actually red not orange as the picture (bonus!). It comes with top notch nobbly Kenda tyres - I had already scanned for road tyres and chose Kenda as a good make.
I was concerned the size of frame might be on the limits for my 5ft 9in but no worries the seat extends an incredible amount and it all feels v comfy. Brakes are great - front disc is what I wanted to keep out of the wet, mud & snow to keep working. The front suspension has fine absorbtion and rebounds properly.
It comes with tools and booklet on how to set up, reflectors front and back and a bell - woohoo! Amazon unexpectedly gave me overnight delivery on the saver option, pity I was in the city. Still city link did try twice and called me too then delivered next working day so 5 star to them as well. All in I can't see anyone having anything but a big grin from buying this gem.
Enjoy.
PS What do bad guys get for xmas ... your bike! The seat and wheel are quick release so buy a chain. |
Great price, great service, great bike...

I bought this bike for ocassional exercise (40's years old...). Looking for something not expensive, just in case I would use it just a few times until forgetting it, but I have to say it was better than expected. Good quality in components and the bike looks more expensive that it was.
Suitable for tall people (I am 6 feet all and it is ok for me)
Very happy with it. I'd recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money for an occasional bike, you will enjoy it.
