On the day he died, he was in a Porsche Carrera GT with his friend, who was driving with a speed between 130 and 150 km/h.

The court acted in favor of Porsche after Roger's wife filed a lawsuit against them. Two other lawsuits against Porsche were filed, but had no influence over the ruling. However, an agreement has been made between Walker's father and daughter and Porsche.
